Leather Portfolio

I will be handing all my work in with a leather Portfolio, which has special compartments to place everything that needs to be handed in printed. Everything is secure and will not fall making the presentation of the Portfolio even more professional.

PPD analysing

During my SCORE analysis I compered my work  to search for strengths within my work. It was hard to separate all my work and analyse it all. Although I did take feedback I got off my tutors into consideration in order to help me write the report.
It was eye opening because I actually realised what I have achieved in the past few years since beginning my course in 2011. On the other hand I also saw how much work lies ahead of me.

Another point that helped me through the analyses is my recommendations of former employers. It guided me to make decisions.

My Portfolio on Krop.com

At the bottom of this text you will be able to see my online Portfolio, which is on Krop.com. I am really happy with the result. The Portfolio represents my very own style.

Agave Styling Work experience

As Paz said we should add more projects to our portfolio I decided to add my experience in Los Angeles where I was allowed to style an advetorial for the jeans brand AGAVE.

I created boards for my portfolio in order to understand my project and each step is explained.

To match all the promotion I then also decided to change the mail out picture and make it look more special. 

The re-edit of the Gorgeous Couture SMM Campaign

After speaking to Paz during our feedback session it was evident that out project had many mixed results, which did not all fit together. One could see that we were a very strong minded group, therefore the outcome was very different when we did our work. Therefore I decided to recreate some of the work as it was not to my standard and our previous mobile example was not created and displayed correctly as the Facebook app or website. As you can see at the top we used a mobile device, which does not look real, for that reason I downloaded a gui of facebok and re-edited the pictures to match the film we created. 

 I repeated the correction again and also added a play button to the picture in order to make the viewer understand what we are trying to portray.

Uploading my trend and image making project

I then started uploading my Trend project while also adding one more trend business cards to my portfolio because our tutor mentioned we could add more work on our portfolio. Therefore I decided to add the work because it shows how diverse and creative my work can be. After that I created a board that explained the project and showed the trends I got my inspiration from. 

Choosing the Layout of my Portfolio

When choosing the Layout of my portfolio on Krop, I wanted it to be simple and understandable. I tried various Layouts as you can see at the bottom of this text. 

I first chose the top Layout, which you can see on the top of this Text. But it wasn't very tidy and didi not suite all my various projects as I have had a lot of different experience. This Layout was and is more suitable for a photographer.

I then though a simple portfolio would work but soon saw that this did not give the viewer enough information about my work. 

After trying various types of Layouts I preferred this Michael Muller Layout as one can see my work straight away without being confused or distracted. 

Creating my logo

In my previous trend & image Making Project I created six Business Cards with my information and logo at the back. I decided that I really liked the Logo to represent my Portfolio. It also shows the sort of style I want my work to look like. 

I first chose to go with the same font as on the cards, but changed the shapes into a black colour. 

After looking at my Logo on the Website I then decided to go with a different Font, which would look more professional. I then chose to give the shapes a more fashionable look by adding a jeans clipping mask to them. 

I then uploaded this logo and was happy with the result. 

KROP.com

I have chosen to upload my digital portfolio on Krop.com as I did in my previous portfolio from last year.

This website represents a style that I find professional, clean, organised and easy to navigate.

One must pay for the upgrades but I think it is worth the money of one wants a professional online portfolio.
